When I started trying to figure out which way was up, I had no idea what the process would actually look like or even how to begin. As it unfolded, the most visibility I ever had was the very next step. I didn’t know where it would lead but I did my best to be open to taking in new information, applying what fit and leaving what didn’t behind. This isn’t an all inclusive list but there is LOTS of good material here.

Podcasts

  • Therapist Uncensored (Ann Sue Marriott and Ann Kelley do phenomenal work breaking down the interpersonal neurobiology of attachment. Jumping to episodes 59, 60 & 61 will give you a really foundational understanding of the different styles of attachment.)
  • Brené Brown: Unlocking Us (So many good conversations on difficult topics with amazing people . Personally some of my favorite episodes are Brené doing solo episodes talking about shame. Who would have ever believed shame was such a fun topic!)
  • re:Knew: ReThink everything you thought you Knew (Boyd’s approach to faith has been foundational to my journey and personal faith. The cliff notes version is that HOW we understand what believe is very important to WHAT we believe.)
